Our resident Oystercathchers, `Henry` & `Henrietta` had 4 eggs in spring & are nesting within our grounds.

On 2 June the eggs hatched and we now have 4 chicks -

`Horiatio`, `Holly`, `Harry `and `Helena`.

Also, the first year has seen tadpoles in the pond.

A pair of Mallard ducks have claimed the pond.

Swallows & House Martins are nesting in the eaves.

Curlew and Lapwing are nesting in the fields along with the free range hens, spring lambs & calves.

Goldfinch & other songbirds can be seen nesting in the hegerows.
